Fanwood  Campsite is situated within 8.5 acres of field and woodland and offers unrestricted camping for up to 250 young people.

 

The campsite itself offers a number of permanent fireplaces with a woodpile for open fires. There is also a "site campfire" with an outside auditorium where groups can enjoy a large fire and leaders can entertain with campfire stories and sing alongs.

Allocated areas are set aside for Patrol, Troop, Group, and District camping, all under the day-to-day supervision of our resident friendly Warden.

For the benefit of visitors to our Campsite, the District Scout Fellowship operate a Tuck and Souvenir Shop on the site.  Whilst the Shop is not available 24/7, If you would like to avail yourself of these facilities during your stay then please contact the Shop Manager, Mrs Trish Shepherd on 01274 878442 to discuss opening times to suit your requirments.

With areas such as "The Bowling Green" and the splendid "Arena" you could be miles from anywhere.

A toilet block is available onsite to all campers and activity members with seperate toilet and shower facilites for both sexes.
